Terms & Conditions

1. Refund against cancellation of Fund transfers or any other Remittance transaction, WPS/ Utility Services etc. returned unpaid for whatsoever reason will be refunded to the sender at the prevailing market buying rate or transaction rate whichever is lower, excluding the sending charges, any deductions from the beneficiary bank, cancellation fees and any other expense incurred as a result. The refund will be made through AJEX locations only in Cheque/Cash favoring the Remitter of Individual transactions/Corporate name.

2. Any amendments or re-issuance of the remittance transaction requested by the customer for whatsoever reason will be subject to our regular charges and settlement of any rate differences, if applicable.

3. Back-end charges or any other bank charges at foreign correspondent banks for money transfers must be disclosed if it is deducted from the amount payable to the beneficiary.

4. Customers must provide required documents as per compliance requirement.

5. Any transaction-related complaint should be lodged within a maximum period of fourteen (14) days from the date of transaction.

6. Transfers/Remittances are considered executed and delivered unless a claim is received within 3 months for cash payout and 6 months for bank transfer from the date the remittance has been made.

7. All types of remittances conducted by the customers are subject to Local, Federal and International Laws as well as the Central Bank of UAE regulations.

8. Currencies once sold or bought cannot be returned.

9. Buy & Sell of currencies are subject to rules and regulations of the Central Bank of the UAE.

10. Your personal information will be treated and processed securely and strictly in accordance with applicable data privacy and protection laws and regulations.

11. AJEX may disclose customer information if we are required to do so by law in order for them to fulfil their regulatory obligations by CBUAE/ by Jurisdiction authority /by the police or any other competent authorities in connection with the prevention or detection of crime or to help combat fraud, money laundering and terrorism financing.

12. We may also report suspicious activity to the Central Bank of UAE.
